1. Water management authorities and environmental agencies can use Acquatec Solutions to design water budget and allocation planning by monitoring crop water use and production and to estimate with precision crop water requirements under various agro-ecological zones and cropping/farming systems. Our system software allows us to assess the yield gap and to produce with confidence food security alerts/early warnings at various scales from local to national scales.

2. Disaster management and relief agencies, insurance companies can use Acquatec Solutions for strategic planning to cope with climate extremes such as drought. We provide monitoring software systems to track anomalies in the water cycle and to forecast crop failure and critical water reservoir depletion. We provide also our expertise in impact and vulnerability assessment and in estimating costs of action versus inaction or costs of reactive versus proactive management. Specifically, for insurance, extreme events (drought mainly, due to climate change) increase the need to manage the risk in agriculture.
