We deliver integrated services that address today’s most pressing challenges in agriculture, water management, and climate resilience.
Our work spans:
1. Climate & Drought Risk Management
2. Smart Agriculture & Water Management
3. Data Analytics & Decision Support Tools
4. Stakeholders Engagement, Capacity Building & Training
5. Policy, Socio-Economic & Market Advisory
6. Technical Breakthrough
With a strong track record across North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, we partner with leading international organizations to deliver scalable, science-based solutions. Our expertise is reflected in peer-reviewed publications and a robust methodology that ensures measurable impact and credibility
The building blocks-based proactive framework includes quantitative drought risk and impact modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and prioritized resilience investment planning across sectors and scales.
We use the World Bank’s DRRA methodology, building the analytical foundation for drought contingency planning and investment prioritization through:
• Identification and mapping of drought-prone areas using high-resolution, multi-source datasets.
• Development of sectoral vulnerability profiles and institutional response evaluations.
• Economic quantification of drought impacts across regions and livelihoods.
• Strategic recommendations for resilience programming grounded in stakeholder priorities.
At Acquatec Solutions, we use advanced modeling and satellite data to deliver precision irrigation scheduling tailored to farmers’ real-time needs. By monitoring soil water depletion and crop water demand throughout the growing season, we help apply just the right amount of water—minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
Our system combines Surface Energy Balance Algorithms, satellite-derived rainfall and temperature, and crop phenology models to generate actionable irrigation alerts. This data-driven approach empowers farmers to make informed decisions, protect crop health, and optimize water use under increasing climate stress.
Already deployed in tools like the engine of IREY Gen3 mobile app in Tunisia, our smart irrigation technology supports climate-smart agriculture and water conservation across diverse farming systems
Acquatec Solutions delivers scalable, user-friendly data platforms that turn real-time inputs from satellites and sensors, into actionable insights for water and agricultural management. Our geospatial tools support both public and private clients, with flexible deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
We’ve built interactive dashboards for irrigation schemes, helping decision-makers monitor rainfall, evapotranspiration, and irrigation demand across season

At Acquatec Solutions, inclusive engagement is central to how we design effective and locally grounded solutions. We bring together policymakers, technical experts, farmers, and development partners through interactive workshops, co-design sessions, and multi-stakeholder dialogues.
By building trust and co-developing solutions, we ensure ownership, alignment with national priorities, and long-term sustainability of climate resilience investments.

These workshops helped shape drought policies by integrating local knowledge with scientific analysis.
Acquatec Solutions strengthens local economies by improving how agricultural and water innovation markets function. Our approach enhances supply-demand relationships through tailored support services, inclusive financing, and strong public-private linkages.
We work closely with communities, cooperatives, and agribusinesses to:
• Build technical and digital extension services
• Promote diversification, intensification, and Nature-Based Solutions
• Improve infrastructure and access to climate-resilient technologies
• Design custom financial instruments with local institutions
Through participatory market assessments and cost-benefit analyses, we’ve supported pilot designs and scale-up strategies across Jordan, Lebanon, West Bank & Gaza, and Egypt. By enabling access to equipment, advisory support, and financing, we foster inclusive growth, environmental conservation, and long-term resilience.

Climate Modeling & Impact Assessments
Acquatec Solutions provides high-resolution climate modeling and forecasting services to support climate-smart decision-making in agriculture, water management, and disaster risk reduction.
We generate localized, 5-km resolution projections for rainfall, temperature, drought, and flood risk, tailored to the needs of countries across MENA, the GCC, and South Asia. Our modeling capabilities include:
• Baseline climatology & climate change downscaling
• Drought and flood forecasting using SPI and related indices
• AI-driven seasonal forecasts for crop water requirements and irrigation demand
• Groundwater and surface water impact assessments
• Crop productivity modeling under climate stress
By integrating deep learning, remote sensing, and global climate forecasts, we deliver 2- to 6-month predictions that enhance planning and resilience at regional and basin scales.
We also apply advanced air quality modeling to forecast dust storms and urban pollution, combining numerical weather prediction and chemistry models with ground-based sensor data. These tools inform environmental planning and public health management across vulnerable urban areas

AI-Powered Seasonal Forecasting & Climate Risk Resilience
At Acquatec Solutions, we harness deep learning to deliver high-resolution, seasonal forecasts of rainfall and drought onset, intensity, and recovery. Our Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models integrate global climate forecasts (e.g., NMME) with satellite data (e.g., CHIRPS) to generate 3-month lead predictions at a 5-km resolution.
By regionalizing forecasts into homogeneous climatological zones, we improve accuracy and enable tailored, locally relevant insights. These forecasts empower decision-makers to take proactive measures in drought-prone and water-stressed regions, with proven use cases like the 2015–2016 Morocco drought.
Our services extend beyond prediction to include:
• Natural hazard risk mapping and vulnerability assessments
• Environmental impact evaluations on rural assets and livelihoods
• Ecosystem service valuation and adaptive capacity planning
• Integration of indigenous knowledge into modern AI-driven systems
We co-develop operational dashboards with partners—tracking climate indicators and supporting climate-smart agriculture, sustainable water use, and resilient policy planning. Our work aligns with global goals, ensuring that local communities and institutions are equipped to respond to climate risks with both technology and tradition.
