Our work includes technical development as well as participatory research and engagement to address effectively gaps and to ensure sustainable adoption through ownership for future self-reliance. We conduct several activities in Jordan, Lebanon, and Morocco :

1.    Stakeholders need assessment, baseline, and drought impact and vulnerability assessment.
2.    Evaluation of norms diffusion at central/local government agencies, civil society, private firms, and research institutions.
3.    Development of drought monitoring and early warning software (including a precipitation seasonal forecasting software
4.    Supporting the development of Drought Action Plans including at the watershed level (Souss Massa in Morocco), and the establishment of monitoring units and national drought mitigation committees.
