Objective

  1.    Equipping USAID IWMI MENA Drought project with a near-continuous (5-km res) and real-time (monthly) drought monitoring and early warning system.
  2.    Relating drought classes to impacts on rainfed cereals and determination of triggers for response actions.

Outcome

  1.    Software and web-browser for drought monitoring and early warning.
